Kirk Carruthers- An all world linebacker who was feared by every opposing offensive line coach. Unfortunately his size wouldn't let him go to the next level. Was signed by the Dolphins as an UDFA but didn't make it through his first training camp.
Charlie Ward- Won every award for a QB in 1993, including the Heisman, but went undrafted because of his height and arm strength. Had he put up these numbers today, he would've been a mid round pick. He, however, was an extremely gifted athlete. So gifted that he spent the next 11 years playing pro BASKETBALL.
