Game Notes
-The win extends FSU's 26 game win streak over ACC foes. The record is 29 (1992-95.)
-Continues the streak of 14 straight road wins and 13 straight road ACC wins.
- FSU is 4-0 for the 4th straight year.
-The Seminoles extended their school record of games without a turnover on offense to 4.
-Hunter's game sealing pick was his 6th pick all time and gives him 4 straight seasons with an INT.
-Dalvin Cook's 94 yard TD run is the third longest in school history behind Larry Key (97 yds vs. VT in 76) and Sammy Smith (95 yds vs. Furman in 87.) It was also the longest TD play in the history of BB&T Field.
-FSU didn't allow a Wake 3rd down conversion until 7 minutes remained in the first half. After today's game Seminole opponents are just 13 of 43 (.302) on third down.
-Believe it or not this game featured Kermit Whitfield's first career TD catch (it's his 5th TD overall.) He finished with 135 all-purpose yards on the day.
-Reggie Northrup looked good in his relief of Terrance Smith, recording 10 tackles and 4 QB hurries.
-Tre Marshall recorded 11 tackles today. The most of any Nole so far in the season.
-The Deacs first TD snapped a 86:51 shutout streak for the Seminoles.
-Everett Golson's 51 yard pass to Bobo Wilson was his 2nd longest of the season and was the longest catch in Wilson's careeer.
