Very concerned to see wimpy Wake come within a whisker of blocking two Nole punts yesterday. That needs to be fixed immediately. You can be sure the Canes and other opponents -- with better athletes -- will give that a whirl.
I have noticed that our long snapper does not rifle the ball back to our punter. You can see this pretty clearly if you watch the long snappers on other teams. There is a clear difference. Beatty may be a hair slow too, but, whatever the cause, we need to be damned sure we do not suffer punt blocks against UM, Clemson, uf, etc.
