I’m a big Jimbo fan but I can understand why fans would question him. I can also understand why some feel he gets less with more. Yes he has won 85% of his games but let’s be real, we play in the ACC. We out recruit everyone else in the ACC so we naturally should routinely beat those guys. Saban and Meyer have won more national championships than Jimbo has kids and they get questioned every Sunday and they expect to win all their games and play for championships. What disturbs me is that we are routinely in the top five in recruiting and have 5 star athletes all over the field, but we routinely struggle against teams that have no star athletes and should be no competition for us at all. I won’t even touch on our defensive philosophy since it’s been beat to death on here. But I will say that a team like WF should NEVER get 27 first downs with the athletics we have on the field. Someone has to be responsible for that and that’s the responsibility of the head coach.
