Ohio State needed to stop NIU on their last drive to tie it up in the 4th quarter! The following week,Boston College (who we beat in a rain soaked battle 14-0) takes care of NIU 17-14. Although they didn't dominate, they took care of business as an UNRANKED team!. They did a better job of beating NIU than THE NUMBER ONE team if you believe the BS the Polls spit out.
Michigan State BARELY pulls out the victory against that POWERFUL (that would be sarcasm for those of you still thinking that FSU should be ranked 12) Purdue team. You know... the same team that lost to Marshall, got the ever living tar beaten out of them by Virginia Tech, and its only win was against Indiana State!!!! I will give you bonus points if you know their mascot??? (Hint, it is a Freaking TREE!!!!)
But what about that POWER CONFERENCE... THE BIG 12, or as I like to call them... The new PAC 10 i.e. The No Defense League!!! Yeah, TCU and Baylor look just great against those high school defenses but when they play pathetic offenses, they still give up quite a bit of points. Let's not forget TCU gave up 52 to Texas Tech and 37 to ABSOLUTE POWER HOUSE SMU!!! Oh, what about Baylor??? They have dominated 4 (not even close to ranked) opponents giving up AT LEAST 17 points in EVERY game, including 21 Points to the power house Southland Conference Lamar Cardinals!!!! LOL, yeah, you guys are right, FSU isn't even close to being in that league.
This brings me to the SEC or, quite frankly, the MOST OVERRATED LEAGUE in HISTORY!!! The Gate Turds have taken the 3rd largest jump in the history of the AP because they beat Ole Miss a team that just two weeks ago took a similar leap all because they beat an overrated Alabama team... WHAT? You didn't think Alabama was overrated??? Let's go to the facts... Alabama has played NO ONE, absolutely NO ONE since the beginning of the season. The mere fact that they lost at home to Ole MIss is reason enough to rank them below FSU (although our schedule to this point is also questionable I will grant you, but the BC win is bigger than most of you will give credit, more on that later). Alabama has played ONLY one real team in Ole Miss and actually that wasn't that big a deal either considering Ole MIss's biggest win (other than Alabama) was FRESNO STATE!!! LOL, whose ONLY win was against the ABILIENE CHRISTIAN WILDCATS LOL, LOL, I am not making this school up, this was their only win so far this season!!!.
Of course the morons on ESPiN will make it sound like the SEC is just beating each other up, but the fact is they haven't played anything outside of their conference to prove it. South Carolina and Georgia are way down this year, Florida struggled mightily AT HOME mind you, against East Carolina!!!
Finally, let's look at Florida State. Granted Texas State is nothing to write home about, but we handled them easily, beating them by over 40 points, We then went on to play a scrappy USF team, struggling a little bit on offense but handling them nicely in the second half. We went on the road and took care of a VERY strong Boston College, shutting them out at HOME!!! And finally taking care of Wake Forest yesterday, Wake Forest who lost by 7 points to that POWER HOUSE INDIANA, who just took THE NUMBER ONE team to the wire!!!

I am not saying we are the best team in the country, but I am saying we are in the top 10 PERIOD. You have no argument to keep us out, and you CAN'T put an Alabama or Florida ahead of us at this point.
