Legrand Orange is gone. A very solid player who played in the bigs an incredible 23 years. One of only 4 players to homer in the MLB as a teenager and after age 40. RIP, Rusty.

A very good ball player and probably a better man. RIP.
R.I.P, Red. I mostly remember his career while starring for the Expos and had forgotten about his later career.
R.I.P. I caught him in the latter stages of his career and remember him mostly as an accomplished pinch hitter.
500 hits with FOUR different teams. 2,700 career hits and close to 300 real HR's, no asterisks.
He played 23 years in the show, that is unreal. Short careers helped Sandy Koufax and Jim Rice get into the HOF, why can't longevity? 23 years in the Bigs is unreal.
If character can keep someone out of the HOF, why can't it get you in?
