Russillo was found naked, with his pants around his ankles, according to the News & Guide.

“He was obviously intoxicated and the only thing he said was that he was getting his stuff,” according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by the News & Guide.

Schultz said Russillo didn’t force entry into the condo, and the residents weren’t sure if they had locked the doors. Russillo thought he might be staying at the condo, police said, but didn’t know where he was at the time.

Don't we all have a buddy that has done this? I know I sure do! Seems to be more likely when on vacation and not as familiar with your accommodations. Chances even greater in the airbnb / vrbo world we live in.

Disclaimer: I'm by no means making excuses for getting that hammered.

I can't wait to hear him discuss this on his return.

Do we think ESPN suspends him?

Absolutely. He is no Paul Finebaum or Steven A Smith.

Wonder if ESPN will take any action.

And what's there to do in Jackson Hole this time of year anyway? Thought it was a ski resort.

Think ESPN will do a 30 for 30 on this?

What if I told you...it's possible to get so sloshed, you don't know where you are and think it's OK to show wiener to complete strangers?

Sure - I had a roommate in college that would wake up in strangers' backyards, or in their cars, etc. But you hope that's something that's no longer an issue by the time you get into your 40s.

A couple of years ago I met up with some buddies in Las Vegas, got completely obliterated at an outdoor bar on the strip, and still managed to successfully navigate my way back through a casino, up to the right floor, and into my room. Now, I woke up the next morning fully clothed with just one shoe off, but I was in the right place.

I couldn't imagine walking into the wrong house. He's lucky the headline isn't that he was shot and killed for busting into someone's house in the middle of the night.

I did something similar. I was staying at the Wynn and walked into the Enchor looking for my room. Once I figured out I stumbled my way to the correct building.

But I agree, couldn't imagine going as far as to walking in and taking off pants.

What's there to do? Yellowstone, raft the Snake River, hike, gondola ride in Teton Village, toboggan run at Snow King, The World Famous Cowboy Bar, the Tetons to start.

And that right there is why I always text myself the hotel/casino, floor, and rm# to myself if I think it's gonna be one of those nights.

If I had a nickel for every time...

There are some hot, rugged silver haired males. Poor things.
They rarely get the chance to meet sassy southern women.
I liked Jackson Hole.

So much of this makes me giggle.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ryen is gone after this. Wonder if ESPN is thinking they let the wrong half of Rusillo/Kanell go.
My understanding is that Ryen is popular among higher ups at ESPN, so he may get a suspension, but doubt he gets canned.

He's such a no-nonsense, down-to-earth guy. It will be interesting to see how he addresses the situation upon his eventual return.

Doubt it. They'll just wait till his "vacation" is over (I believe he is/was supposed to be back sometime next week right before CFB really picks up) and hope it blows over. Also helps that he's also not one to really ruffle feathers there live (as opposed to Will Cain..who by the way, had an awesome segment today ripping on Deadspin, et al, that ultimately might get himself canned because it's opposite what most of ESPN is....).

If Brit McHenry can be brought back for something much worse (let alone them hiring people like Ray Lewis...), I don't see Russilo being gone much (if all).

I didn't mean to imply he WOULD, I said I wouldn't be surprised if he did. They just moved an announcer because of his name, I don't have much faith in ESPN's ability to be logical anymore.

He was back on the air last Tue. Owned up to it, didn't make any excuses, and probably handled it best he could.

I liked the show better with Danny, and better when it was baldy and Rusillo, but I agree with you he 'owned' it as best you can and while it's inexcusable, he didn't rob, rape, or murder, just got way too drunk on vacation.

Agree on "level of transgression".
I didn't watch much when baldy was on it. I really enjoyed Danny's different perspective, his version of the show was really the only one I watched. Now I just watch the news instead until some other sports channel steps up.

Danny's been good on his new ESPNU radio show. Conversely, I stopped watching Russillo as soon as they fired Danny. That was a DUMB move by BSPiN.
