Sacha Baron Cohen's, "Who Is America?" on Showtime

Is anyone watching this show? It is so cringe worthy at times, I have to frequently look away or change the channel...but I keep going back. And yes, I realize Sacha Baron Cohen disproportionately makes fun of Republicans. There's no disputing that, but that's not what's important for the purposes of this thread. I definitely don't want this to turn into a political discourse, so please don't take it there.

How he does all of this stuff w/a straight face though, without being sued successfully (or outright killed by some of the people he mocks) is beyond me.

The most outlandish thing I've seen so far is that he VERY EASILY got a sitting Georgia House of Representatives member to scream the N-word multiple times. Then after he did it, he tells the guy, “Are you crazy? The ‘N-word’ is 'noony,' not this word, this word is disgusting.”

That guy, State Rep. Jason Spencer, resigned today.

I saw that. Cohen is funny and very convincing. I think he is good at finding people that are predisposed to certain views, and he’s really, really good at giving them that little nudge. Borat was great that way.
