A lot of people are probably complaining about our play on offense last night, and it was frustrating to watch. Some people didn't like Jimbo's play calling most likely but I didn't question it. I really think that Jimbo just doesn't trust this team to do certain things and it's clear that the entire playbook isn't being used because of some huge issues on the right side of the offensive line and inexperience of some of our WR's.

You could see it from the endzone perspective that BC was selling out with its very underrated defensive front to shut down Dalvin Cook and dare Golson to beat them. Golson is a good, but not great college QB but it's clear to me that the reason he's starting is because of his ability to elude the pressure which will continue to come. Jimbo likely believes that SMAG would have greater issues dealing with it. Had Jameis still been here because he was an elite college QB he could have carved up BC but most college QB's would have had problems last night.

I don't think this right side OL issue can be fixed during the year because of youth and lack of strength that comes with experience and more offseason work. It's interesting that if we're going to beat teams like Tech and Clemson that we're going to have to do it with our defense which is vastly improved over last year. I still think this is a 2-3 loss team with the potential to do better than that. I hope I'm wrong.
