Noon -- It was a little lighter practice today because yesterday was very physical and tomorrow is a full scrimmage.
During 7-on-7 drills, Jordan, Chubba and Tate all had some nice throws. TE Markeston Douglas and WR Darion Williamson had some nice routes and catches. Offense is having a lot of success during these drills, getting WRs open in soft spots in the secondary.
Travis had a couple of nice completions in traffic to Andrew Parchment and Camm McDonald.
During 11-on-11 ... Chubba had another nice throw to Darion Williamson, and Corey Wren had a really nice run. He not only showed his speed, but juked a defender in the open field and was off to the races. DJ Williams also had a few nice runs and catches out of the backfield.
One of the best defensive plays of the day was a blitz by Akeem Dent ... perfectly timed. He almost caught the pitch to the running back.
Tate connected with Josh Burrell on a bomb after Burrell got behind Hunter Washington. Ball was a little underthrown, but Burrell made the catch.
At the end, they did some work on situations like Hail Mary's and prevent defense ... Brownlee, Shyheim Brown and Travis Jay all come up with INTs on the desperation passes. They also worked on the tip drill a little bit.

9:27 a.m. -- They just did the early 11-on-11 2-minute drill before going outside.
Not much happened during Travis' series, but Chubba had a very nice drive.
He connected with Darion Williamson on a great rollout throw ... play design seemed to fool the secondary (they had some young guys back there) and it went for 40-plus.
DJ Williams then had a couple of very nice runs. Chubba also had another solid little completion to Kentron Poitier. Ended the drive with a TD run by Williams.
Going outside now for segment drills. Hearing practice is slated to end around 10:30, so interviews could be a little earlier than normal.

We’re here at FSU for Saturday practice. Should be a less physical day with the scrimmage tomorrow. Starting at 9 a.m. Will have updates coming around 9:45.
