Jimbo Fisher post-practice video
POST-PRACTICE UPDATE
FSU practiced for over two hours in full pads. Jimbo said it was like a Tuesday practice, which usually is a heavy hitting day. He said Friday's practice was like a Tuesday as well. So guessing they won't do much of anything tomorrow and get back after it on Monday.
We thought there might be QB news today, but no dice. Jimbo wouldn't even say if he would name a QB Monday. So... we'll see. He did say at one point that he knows "exactly what he's gonna do," but then he said later that he doesn't know what he's gonna do. So ...
As for C Alec Eberle not being at practice, Jimbo said he had an "ailment" but shouldn't be out long. Corey Martinez and Ryan Hoefeld worked at center today.
He said Derrick Kelly was back and did everything but was second team because Brock Ruble has been playing so well at right tackle. Fisher said he feels good about both of them.
Jimbo said he liked the way the OL and the QBs, WRs and RBs picked up blitzes today. Feeling better about that. Said the offense and defense both had good moments.
Overall, he said the team is where he thought they would be at this point.
Jimbo would not divulge much of anything about starting jobs -- center, tight end, anything. Said we shouldn't be so caught up in depth charts. "All these guys are gonna play." Said depth is more important than ever in college football.
He said Nate Andrews was able to do everything with his cast on his hand.
He also raved about Dalvin Cook, saying he had 4-5 big runs today.

EARLY UPDATE
We originally thought there would be no media availability at practice this weekend, but we were able to cover practice today after all. Here are the early updates. We'll have more from Jimbo around 1:45 or 2.
As some people had heard yesterday, Nate Andrews has a cast on his right hand. We were told it was put on Friday. Not sure how it will affect him in the short term, but he was working with the starters during the portion of practice we saw. We'll get more from Jimbo after practice.
The team was wearing full pads and was practicing outdoors in a light rain. Didn't see any lightning, so think they may get it all in outdoors.
Some interesting news on the OL front. Looked like Derrick Kelly was working at right tackle, but on the second team. Brock Ruble still with the ones. Probably just because it's Derrick's first day back. Also, looked like Corey Martinez was working with the ones at center, and Alec Eberle was not there for the early portion. Not sure what's up there. Ryan Hoefeld was working with the twos.
Injury updates -- Out: Tarvarus McFadden, Cole Minshew, Abdul Bello, Johnathan Vickers, Lorenzo Featherston, Marcus Lewis, Nyquan Murray
Blue non-contact jersey -- George Campbell
Chris Casher was in full pads and participating. Ja'Vonn Harrison was in full pads but still looked limited. Sh'Mar Kilby-Lane was not in blue.
