While I realize that the main purpose of being a booster is to help support the team and Seminoles athletics in general, I can't help but wonder just how much 'bang for the buck' we season ticket holders are going to get moving forward.
With the new thing of scheduling the big match-ups no longer as a home and home, the quality of opponents that are faced inside Doak is going to go down. Yes, we still get Miami/Clemson/Florida every other year, and those are great to attend w/o a doubt... but I fear the days of the OU series are going to be few and far between, if existent at all moving forward.
Because of this, what steps is Seminole Boosters taking? The neutral site games aren't part of the season ticket package... so to see some of the best match-ups the Noles will take part in, we have to roll the dice with purchasing an end zone ticket through the Boosters, or go to the secondary market. This is a very selfish post, I admit, but is there going to be anything done for the Season Ticket holder? Since we are already showing great support both monetarily and in our attendance, are we just being told "sorry, you're SOL?"
As a season ticket holder (despite living 10 hours away), it's very hard to see how these neutral site games are a benefit to the loyal fans, especially when we're told that they are outside of the Season Ticket package.
