For all of Jumbo's faults, he maintained some level of discipline though it was far from perfect. What I am curious about is what WT is doing or not doing differently? Leading the nation in penalties at different schools is very telling. This whole thing with music being played loud at practice, dancing around for no good reason. What message does this tell the players? Sort of like the inmates running the asylum. If you got loud music in your head and thinking about dancing are you focused on doing your job?

And otherwise, could it be that WT is getting targeted for penalties a lot of other teams get away with for any other reason?? Some of the stuff our players do is just plain dumb and easy calls for refs to make but they sure go out of their way to pile on and get us for every ticky tack call that every other team gets away with.

Is Willie too much a players' coach? Trying to cater to the players whims too much? If so, I am afraid that no matter how well he recruits, we will never be better than a 3-4 loss team. Can you even imagine Saban putting up with some of the reindeer games we see without the performance on Saturdays to show for it???
