This looks like nothing DC has done so far. It's light-hearted, full of color, and meant to be fun rather than the brooding, colorless, angry world we've seen so far.Looks like typical DC garbage to me.

I'm not crazy about the suit, but everything else looks great.
I agree the tone is nothing like what DC has done before but I stand by my original post that it looks like garbage (and will echo that sentiment for Aquaman). This looks like nothing DC has done so far. Yeah, that suit looked cartoonish, but maybe that's what they're going for. This looks like nothing DC has done so far. It's light-hearted, full of color, and meant to be fun rather than the brooding, colorless, angry world we've seen so far.

On a side note, it's good see that Kendrick Lamar finally sold out.
True. Then there’s the Super Bowl. Ok, he’s a total sellout. His last album was the soundtrack for the NBA playoffs last year so he kinda already did, no?
Only in that he's humorish. He's actually not a comedy character like Deadpool is. He's been a fairly serious hero for years. The catch is that he's essentially a boy who transforms into a superhero, so he doesn't really have the experience for the job. In the comics he often winds up at odds with Superman (who is the only person with similar powers) due to his childish behavior.Like Lou, I know nothing about Shazam. But that trailer makes him look like DC's version of Deadpool, which can't be all bad, can it?
Looks much better than the aquaman trailer.
