Shenese Walker earns fourth-fastest time in 60 at NCAA Indoors

The Florida State track and field opened the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

Shenese Walker highlighted the day by punching her ticket to the final on Saturday in the women’s 60-meter. She placed eighth in the prelims after tying the fourth-fastest time in FSU history with a career best of 7.18.

Andre Korbmacher concluded his season earning second team All-America honors in the men’s 60-meter hurdles placing 14th with a time of 7.76. Tyson Williams placed behind Korbmacher at 15th (7.77), claiming second team All-America.

Walker and the women’s 4x400-meter relay of Takiyah Ferguson, Alyia Green, Tyra Wilson, Kaelyaah Liburd and Jaden Francis will compete on Saturday, looking to add to the team total.
