What was an average unit last year has become a strength. With the exception of the the ko return, the coverage units have been excellent. Mastro is quietly having an incredible year punting the football. He’s #7 in the country with a 47.57 yard average and is #3 in the country in net punting at 44.48 yards. Fitz is perfect so far this year on placekicks, and even though he’s not a leader in touchbacks, his kicks have been good enough to cover and limit returns to under 24yds. The punt return game is completely different with Coleman and are a top 15 unit. Well done to the players and Coach Pap!
