And not dismissed, it looks like he will stay on the team until a resolution of his case?
Is that a safe assumption?
I suppose there are at least 3 possible outcomes:
1) The case breaks in his favor and charges are dropped. If so, I assume he'll be reinstated immediately.
2) If he pleads to something less (would pleading nolo vs pleading guilty matter?) I would assume Jimbo might give him the boot because hitting a women was involved and he took a plea. Or, he might be suspended a certain number of games since the DA ultimately accepted something less then a misdemeanor battery?
3) The case goes to trial and drags into the season. If that's the situation I assume he stays suspended until the ultimate outcome. If its a guilty verdict, I guess he's gone because of the DJ precedent. If it's not guilty, reinstated immediately?
I missing anything?
