I truly enjoyed episode 3. The ending made me angry, but I think it hit on a lot of important social themes. It was basically a discussion of society trying to force others to fit the mold of happy white America. So it had a lot of issues discussing racial and sexual orientation. I felt it very specifically was trying to discuss trans issues, but also hitting on others.
In the end, the government of their people were wrong and the parents decided they will love their child no matter what. I'd have preferred a different ending, and maybe they're setting up something else down the road. I don't know.
