So the latest New York attacker apparently is from Tampa.

Orlando, Las Vegas, and now New York...What's the known common denominator amongst the (alleged) perps? Forget Mexico...Maybe we should build a wall around Florida. :p

"Saipov, a Tampa, Florida resident, arrived in the United States in 2010 from Uzbekistan and is on a green card, sources told KTLA sister station WPIX in New York."

I'm reminded of the recent trucker in Sweden:

"The arrested man suspected by police of killing four people by ramming a truck into crowds in Stockholm is a 39-year-old from Uzbekistan who had been denied permanent residency in Sweden and who had expressed sympathy for Islamic State.
...
Akilov’s Facebook page shows he was following a group called “Friends of Libya and Syria”, dedicated to exposing “terrorism of the imperialistic financial capitals” of the United States, Britain and Arab “dictatorships”."

Among the 'Stans, Uzbekistan is pretty far out on the fundamentalist end of the spectrum.

One thing you knew in Iraq or A-stan was if you got in a fire fight with those radicals from Eastern Europe you were going to be in a fight. They typically didn't run or dis-engage; while still pathetic little terrorists you did respect the fact that they were all generally tough as nails and fierce.
