So when you win 1 Billion dollars

Damnit got ninja'd

I'm not stopping at 2. Im setting up a 300 girl, 1 pump each lineup from endzone to endzone at Doak. If I make it to the end, the fireworks go off, chiefs come marching out playing the warchant, osceola and renegade plant the spear, and bobby rides out on golf cart for rd 2.

That sounds like a lot of work. To be fair, at my age "two chicks at the same time" sounds like too much work.

Here's the numbers behind how much you'd get after taxes:

For Virginia:
Lump sum: Your net payout: $407,232,000
Annuity: After 30 payments: $720,000,000
It would be so bizarre to win this. Some of the lotteries that are like $10M would be amazing and awesome but it wouldn’t necessarily change everything for you and your entire family for generations to come.

As for me...

Martin Lawrence has a house where I live that's up for sale for $8.5M. It's 23k sqft and would let me keep the kid in the same high school.

I might pick up a Gulfstream 650ER. It's $66M and has the range for trans-pacific flights. It can be housed at the airport that's about 8 miles from me, which will be convenient. I've got big traveling plans.

I think I'd probably want the AMG G-Wagon to get around.

So, there's about 20% of it gone right off the bat. That $407M after taxes might not be enough for me. I should probably take the cash value option to at least make sure I can make it last longer.

Serious question though, wouldn’t you worry about your family’s safety? That’s a lot of money.
I guess you’d hire some bodyguards like Denzel in Man on Fire.

"My" lottery ticket will be redeemed by a blind trust. The trust's attorney will present the ticket on behalf of the trust with instructions where to deposit the money.

I think that's how it works. Will cross that bridge Monday morning...

The lottery is my favorite tax. I get taxing smokers and drinkers, but a voluntary tax on people who are bad at math is brilliant.

The line at the grocery store for lotto tix was 10 deep. I saw one dumbass buy $200 worth of tickets. That could have gone to a deserving Nigerian entrepreneur. LOL at stupid people.

... and yes, I bought one.

When I win, I am going to buy a Weber grill, some confederate money, a radar detector, some South of the Border stickers, and after donating to Hurricane Michael relief, I am going to cryogenically freeze myself for 100 years, during which time I am going to have Rosetta Stone or Babbel played so that I learn every language on the planet.

I’d buy a house back home around my family..
hook my parents, brother, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins up. Get them set for life.

I’d buy a gulfstream jet. Multiple country club memberships to the best courses in the world..

FSU football would get hooked up

I’d travel to all of the sporting events and venues that I’ve always wanted to see.

I’d donate a lot. To my church, hometown, other places of need.

Probably have a house in Florida for a winter get away. Probably have one in Switzerland. Always thought it’d be sweet to live in the mountains there.

That’s just a start. How much do I have left?

That's enough to make one an instant billionaire after taxes.
Single payment is $900something million, post tax prob around $400-500million.

Still enough to pay for a few bags of blow and a couple fun weekends before getting back to the grind.

After tax, assuming you’re in a state without income tax, would be more than that - roughly 560 million.

Maybe I can get wooo the extra large green egg after all.

Call my accountant, attorney and financial advisor. I would call in sick to work so not to draw attention. One thing is certain, my primary residence would not be in DeFuniak.

You know what I would do if I had a billion dollars? I would invest half of it in low risk mutual funds and then take the other half over to my friend Asadulah who works in securities…
