I have been thrilled with Alford's performance as AD during his short tenure. He's really done a great job, at least in my view.
Which begs the question: why did McCullough originally want to hire the controversial Vince Tyra (who is now back in private business, completely out of college athletics)? I think FSU lucked out when Tyra's candidacy imploded.
