With the actual payouts to each school tied to ticket sales and the lingering idea that we won't have full stadiums ... well ... are the schools looking to replace this game?
No sense in either team flying to Atlanta and spending several hundred thousand dollars on the charter flight and the hotel rooms to not get the type of payout that should be expected. Both teams would be better off financially to cancel and then schedule a game with some "local" FCS team.
I know that there was some talk of this possibility a few weeks ago. Has anyone heard any more about this possibility?
