Sports radio paying guests

sports radio always has various guests, from coaches or athletes of teams in the news to some guy who just wrote a book. I assume the people selling something come on the air for free, but how much do the other guests get paid?

Most don't get paid unless they have a standing agreement to appear daily or weekly.
