I missed this first time around. Spygate was ridiculous. Unbelievable the lengths they took to film opposing teams. What a system.

I know it wasn't your idea Alaska, but putting "gate" at the end of every controversial or illegal act is so ridiculously dumb. I wish everyone that does it would stop.

Never gave it much thought, actually, I just did the ole copy/paste. Heck, I think Miley Cyrus is ridiculously dumb, but apparently I'm in the minority.

Scummy people do scummy things. I have never been impressed with Bilichick, from his homeless dress code to his bored/dismissive demeanor at pressers. Don't care for the modern day NFL either. Way too many hooligans involved. So I wish a pox on both organizations. Sadly, the NFL is sufficiently powerful to cover most of its sordid tracks.

I always wonder how many other teams were trying to come up with ways to cheat but weren't as successful as the Pats.

Some of this attention they are getting could be the result of them winning the most. But maybe if every team was investigated as intently as the pats were they would all be guilty of something shady.

Again, I'm just throwing it out there. I have no dog in the hunt and could really careless. If the bucs were relevant during those years and had lost a playoff game to the Pats I might feel different with my hate towards them...but that never happened. I'm completely indifferent when it comes the Pats and their cheating ways.

If the Bucs were to lose a playoff game to the Pats, it would be the Super Bowl. I would have guessed you may have cared.

I get your point though, who cares about NE. I'll continue to be a frustrated Bucs fan!

The Pats were just so so back in the 80s when the snow plow game happened, and didn't usually contend for the playoffs. (I dind't mention it above but the guy who plowed the field was an ex-con who was told to do so by the Patriot's Head Coach.) It was Miami and the Colts who vie for the AFC east championship, and then in later years Miami and Buffalo, and then after Marino retired its been mostly the Patriots. Coincidentally that's when Bellicheck came back to New England, although their cheating predates him.

Jealousy...such a lame emotion, and pretty much on full display on those rare occasions when NE loses. Kind of ironic that some FSU fans don't see the parallel between NE and FSU haters, Brady and Winston haters, etc.
