The type offense we run takes a few games to get the timing down and kicked into gear. Alabama's offense is just as good game one as the last game of the season while we'll be vastly improved towards the end of the season.
Lining up and playing smash mouth, down hill, run first football is far easier to perfect in game one than our extremely complex offense that will look good after a few games. Vs Ole Miss, Jimbo's offense looked like trash through that game until we poured it on in the second half to make a maricle comeback. We must keep this game close from kickoff because you won't catch Bama down 21 late in the 3rd quarter. If that happens Bama will roll us huge.
