Haven't started watching yet but found out an FSU professor from Tallahassee is part for the cast. He apparently is a Robotics Scientist who also has been on Stephen Colbert's show. Think that is pretty cool.

Watched first episode. Really enjoying this cast and season so far. Very interesting dynamics between the players. Don't want to give away any spoilers.
I watched the opener, didn't know the guy was a FAMU-FSU professor (thats how the news articles have him listed). He has some amusing quirks. I don't care about the theme thing for this season beyond an eye roll. I wonder if they tell people ahead of time or if its a surprise. Funny how everyone seems to just jump in both feet with the categorization.
So this season just ended. The right person won, IMHO. Overall not a bad season. It's always interesting to see people not have any self-awareness at all (i.e. Angelina), even after going home and seeing it on tv for themselves.
It would still be nice if they did some sort of old-school, no hidden idols (or other recent random gimmicks) season.

Those 2 Tribal Councils where multiple idols were played were the best TCs ever.
Of all my years watching Survivor Angelina had to be one of the worst contestants ever. I’m sure outside of the game she is a great person. But between the contious asking for the jacket in the one episode, the never ending rice story and the ridiculous drama involving attempting to make herself look like a intelligent player when voting off Allison she had to be one of the worst of all time. I’m glad she didn’t win.
Christian, the FSU/ Famu professor, had a following very few on Survivor have had in a while (at least on the FB page). I was pulling for him as well. Seemed like a very smart and kind/ nice guy.

They should do a season and just put Natalie and Angelina out there by themselves. Call it miserable island.

Great season in my opinion despite a slow start and, what seemed like, an underwhelming cast.
Miserable Island should just be: Angelina vs Abi Maria vs Coach vs Tai
