Sweet 16... what to do

There are several sports bars within easy walking distance of Philips Arena and two are right there in CNN Center, next to the Arena. Dantana's and Taco Mac are right there. Stats and Hudson Grille.

FSU rolls and you saw UK lay an egg, great night all around!

How did the UK fans behave?

See, I told you going was the way to go. Our game was not really compelling (except to FSU fans of course) meanwhile the two best games of the night were at your location with two really great tight games with last second wins.

FSU win (no matter by how much) trumps all.

I love a competitive game but there is no history or nostalgia with these other teams. With other games, I typically pull for the Cinderella team or pull against a hated rival but the game is never as exciting as it is with FSU.

I basically give a +2 excitement level to anything FSU related. If the game is only a 7 out of 10 like ours last night, I bump it up to a 9. But Loyola-Chicago v Nevada was a 10 out of 10 for me and Kentucky v Kansas State was a natural 9 for me. So I had a lot of fun catching all three (Michigan demolishing the fighting Jimbos I only give a 3 or 4 with most of the points coming from my new hatred of aTm) but I would have regretting missing the two best games live in great seats if I had that opportunity.

You failed to add the surprise factor which all us FSU fans are experiencing in abundance at this time. Us winning any game in the NCAA tournament is an added +2 per round. ;)

There's really no interest to me in watching two schools I never pay attention to who were both low seeds fight it out. So I can't put Loyola and Nevada as a 10 out of 10 just because of the schools involved.

I'll give you the Kentucky vs KState game as a better game than the Noles. But while we lead most of the game, Gonzaga was fighting and keeping that game close all night. Everytime we'd pull ahead, they'd push it back to within 4. It was a crazy game of runs. It wasn't until the last minute that we suddenly ran away with it, and you can really thank that flagrant foul for that.
