anyone have any experience with T Mobile's coverage? I currently have Verizon but T Mobile has a great deal right now for 2 lines. I'd get the iPhone 6s if it matters. My only hesitation is the quality of coverage.

T-mobile customer for over a decade & never have reception issues. Just got the 2 line deal with 10G shared monthly for $55 month, that includes taxes.

Compared to Verizon it blows. Although it depends where you live/what you do. I have TMobile for my Ipad because I got the SIM for a buck and they are doing 200MB free per month. Needless to say I haven't used it because every time I don't have WiFi I am out of their range.

It really depends on where you live and plan on using your phone. I have T-Mobile and it works great in the Atlanta area. I live on the far north eastern edges of the Atlanta Metro area (technically slightly outside the Metro area) and my phone works just fine while I am outside. However, once I go inside (including inside my house) I lose signal.

On the positive side, T-Mobile allows your phone to work seamlessly over wi-fi. Just beware, if you start a call on wi-fi and leave, the call will not automatically switch to the cellular network. The same goes for a call starting on the cellular network and trying to transfer to a wireless network.

If you travel a lot, I would suggest checking their coverage map as it is not very good, especially when you look at more rural areas of the country.

I also had TMobile in Atlanta for a couple years as well. I'm not a heavy user of voice especially, and it always seemed adequate. However, since switching to an ATT MVNO, I'm amazed how much more coverage I have, even out in the middle of nowhere. TMobile was generally fine for everyday use, but you didn't have to go too far off the beaten path before you'd lose it. You know, exactly the situation where connecting to GPS could be very handy.
