Terry having surgery was thrown out on the forums yesterday so we looked into it.
We confirmed with a source close to Terry that he did undergo minor knee surgery. Without getting into details, we were told it was a clean-up procedure and everything went well. The expectation is that he'll miss about 2 1/2 weeks of practice. So all indications are that he'll be ready in time for the 8/31 opener vs. Boise State.
There is supposed to be a press conference tomorrow with Willie Taggart. So we should get additional details on Terry's condition then. But again, it sounds like the surgery was relatively minor so absent a setback, he should be ready to roll in time for the season.
