Are we set here? Seem a little scuttle ffans about us targeting another kid in the portal to replace Jordan Wilson. Do we really need that? This is what we have coming into 2022..
Cam McDonald has played in 45 games, started 20 of those games in his career, and is a grizzled vet at this point. He is a potential NFL guy. Certainly a good college TE.
Most informed people expect Jackson West to be a very good TE here. Might have the highest upside of all the TE’s.
Markeston Douglas is a huge blocking TE’s. He will used in 2 TE sets. I would expect him to be Jordan Wilson’s replacement.
Wyatt Rector is still here, and preferred walkons Preston Daniel, Austin White provide solid depth. Also have walkon’s DJ Daniels and Vance Nicklaus. Don’t know much about them.
Bringing in freshman Brian Courtney and Jarelle Powers. Better potential than most of the TE’s recruits we have been bringing in lately. Courtney is extremely athletic.
Don’t personally see where Koby Gross fits. Counting on him dipping to be honest. Maybe if he leaves we replace him with another TE? However, instead of having 7 scholarship TE’s and 4 walkon’s, I would think we could benefit from using the scholarship elsewhere.
