Sounds like every 90's pop anthem ever made. That's pretty funny.
I would consider that in the same family of music as what I have in mind: Sugar Ray, that ‘Closing Time’ song, the Shrek theme song, etc.

I’ll agree with the train wreck comment. I had to see it through to the end and I don’t know why.
It reminded me of Goo Goo Dolls or Third Eye Blind crossed with some Soul Asylum to make it a bit more gritty.

Never a big fan of dissonance....I get that it was reflective of their collective angst, but I've never found that sound appealing.
Not bad but perhaps you've gone too far in the other direction. I mean, these guys need to know what you're saying.
I find it more productive when I single out a member of the band and say something completely ficticious like, Nirvana was ok but the guitar/singer guy was the only one with any talent. In this case there will be at least one David Grohl fan boy that will get completely butt hurt and come in and try to White Knight him...
