Softball Texas A&M sweeps doubleheader from FSU

FSU sports information:
The No. 8 Florida State softball team (11-3) fell to No. 6 Texas A&M (14-1) on Saturday afternoon in the JoAnne Graf Classic. FSU fell 6-3 in eight innings in game one and 10-4 in game two.
Game 1
The Noles got off to a great start in front of a packed crowd at JoAnne Graf Field as Annabelle Widra got the start in the circle and kept the Aggies scoreless in the top of the first.
Jaysoni Beachum walked in the bottom of the first to give the Noles their first baserunner of the day, and Kennedy Harp singled to put Beachum in scoring position. Michaela Edenfield hit a slow ground ball that found its way through the 3-4 hole to bring Beachum home. Hallie Wacaser then continued her solid week with a single that scored both Harp and Edenfield to give the Noles a 3-0 lead after the first inning.
The Noles had another great chance in the bottom of the second as they loaded the bases with one out but were unable to bring any runs home.
Widra continued to stifle the Aggies, but they finally got on the board with a solo home run in the top of the fourth to cut the lead to two. The Aggies added two more runs in the top of the fifth to tie the game at three.
The Aggies threatened again in the top of the seventh and loaded the bases with two outs, but Jazzy Francik came in and got the final out to keep the score tied.
The Aggies broke through in the top of the eighth by scoring three unearned runs with two outs to take a 6-3 lead. FSU was unable to rally in the bottom half of the inning and eventually, fell to the Aggies.
Game 2
After a scoreless first inning from both teams, Texas A&M used a six-run second inning to pull away from the Noles. The Aggies added one more run in the third and three in the fifth inning to go up 10-0.
FSU did put up four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to extend the game thanks to RBI singles from Beachum and Harp. Wacaser and Madi Frey each picked up RBIs on groundouts, but the rally stopped there as the Noles were unable to get anything going in the final two innings.
FSU will be back in action next week for the Dugout Club Classic where they will host Florida Gulf Coast, College of Charleston and Mercer for five games in three days.

What should we think of this if anything?
It's a few weeks into the season, just a bad day?
I knew the bats could not continue the pace that was set to start the season.
Or is there possible warnings signs of weaknesses?

I think outfield play is fair. They make the routine plays, but not many really big plays out there in regard to tough catches. I said earlier, it seemed a fair trade off due to their hitting, but when the bats go a bit cold, a few big plays and stealing a few outs would be nice.
I don't want to pile on to Reid. . .but starting the second inning with three consecutive walks started the ball rolling in the wrong direction that game, and they never bounced back. She didn't look good. . .not just finding her location, but just her demeaner. She looked dazed and just emotionless. I don't know what to make of it, but the complete lack of emotion seemed concerning.
I think there is a ton of potential on this team, and early in the season Lonnie will be feeling everybody out to see who she can lean on in the pivotal games. aTm is a very good ball club, and game one was ours for the taking. I still like this team and feel they should be able to make a good run come season's end.

I get what you are saying about Reid.
Even her first year when she was pretty dominant I didn't feel like she showed a whole lot of emotion.
Which I pitched all the way up into college and I was brought up to not let my emotions show no matter what the situation. And I was the same way for the most part. I'm old now and the way baseball and softball is played now has changed a lot. The "taunting" after homeruns now would have got you one in the ribs next time up.
I don't understand after not pitching much last year due to injury (?) that she has started out the year the way she
has. Limited time in the circle and other than 1 outing she looks nothing like she did as a freshman.
I think there has also been a big drop off on the bases. Team speed has usually always been a big factor for us. Maybe Ross struggling a bit at the plate is part of the reason but, just seems like we arent the threat there as we usually are.
Hopefully we figure out the things that are fixable and.make a run at it.
