Yep. I think cell phones with cameras came out/ were popular starting about 2002 and I have been married since before that. So haven't really had the opportunity to get a snatchshot sent to me.

Ummmmmm, my comment MAY have had something to do about said daughters friends.......maybe. I've had it happen a few times, but always a girl I was currently intimate with

I will share a story with you. When my daughter was in 8th grade, a girl sent a naked selfie to her boyfriend, who then shared it with the entire 8th grade class. I asked the girls what they thought of the photo, thinking they would say she was nasty or sleazy or something (that would be what I would have thought in 8th grade). Well, much to my surprise they all said how nice her body was, that she had nice assets and such.

That was how I knew times had changed. These middle school girls all thought it was ok to send the picture. I thought I better teach them how to do it safely because no matter what I told them, they would do what they wanted anyway.

I think the other thing that comes into play could be potential criminal acts of sharing or dispersing these pictures of a minor. Granted they are also minors but I would think there may be a criminal element that some could get charged with for passing it on. And if any involved were 18 or older they could be looking at much worse if a parent or someone reached out and got a prosecutor to charge people with it.

Thats the problem. They will most likely do it at some point, especially when you tell them not to so they may as well learn to do it right.
