Well here we go... As briefly as I can lay out what I have heard about the Alliance's Plan.

ACC, PAC, and B1G are about to put some "Meat on-the Bone" with the Alliance through a huge B1G contract re-negotiation. Multiple networks will be involved.

ACC, B1G, and PAC essentially get transformed under the Alliance umbrella. Current ACC contract and GOR gets restructured/eliminated and replaced. All 3 conferences begin governance as a single entity. Somewhat equal revenue sharing, giving all Alliance schools, and especially ACC schools, a "pay raise" with the new bigger Alliance TV contracts. No need for full ACC, B1G, and PAC headquarters and not nearly as much individual conference overhead needed. No more "ACC" referees either.

Alliance forms its own subdivision later this year. Remember how important I said January 20th would be when the NCAA stepped away from governance? Alliance then creates its own divisional structure, media deals, enforcement arm, scheduling, playoff structure, and bowl structure - Orange and Rose Bowls heavily involved. Alliance then invites SEC and perhaps at least some of Big 12 to join in. Remains to be seen what the SEC response will be or how they might counterpunch, which could be huge.

Down the line, the Alliance could evolve into separate Tier 1 and Tier 2 leagues/divisions, further separating the lightweights into a more suitable weight class to compete in with potential for Upward/Downward Relegation opportunities based on their level of commitment.

But a word of caution. Buckle Up. It's going to be a bumpy ride.
