How is it that when a non-ACC team beats a lower tier ACC team (UCLA vs UVA, OSU vs VaTech, USC) or even a middle tier ACC team (USCe vs UNC, Auburn vs Louisville), they count as quality wins for that non-ACC program. Yet when FSU, Clemson, etc beats one of these teams, they are considered lowly opponents and expected wins? I have heard UVA talked about as if they are a solid program when UCLA beat them, yet I think Texas State is better competition than them. It astonishes me.
