I've noticed over time that teams who throw for 500 yards rarely win.Who would've thought that Pittsburgh would score 42 points, Ben throw for 5 TDs and rack up 545 yards against the #1 defense and lose?
Ben threw for 469. Pitt had 545 yards of total offense as a team, 167 more than Jax. The strip sack for a TD and the INT inside their own 20 were killers.I've noticed over time that NFL teams who throw for 500 yards often lose.

Holy feces!Someone better check on Ponch.
Making them go for the PAT after the winning score comes with no time left on the clock is almost as stupid as the NFL catch rules. There are a lot of either extremely ticked off or elated/relieved gamblers with N.O. vying to kneel down on the PAT.

The Vikings certainly played it right by just kneeling there.
Agreed, but I'm sure if you bet on Minny you're upset about it! If you listen to talk radio & those stupid debate shows, that dumb rule will be discussed ad nauseam this week.Making them go for the PAT after the winning score comes with no time left on the clock is almost as stupid as the NFL catch rules.

Agree. My Pittsburgh born and bred FIL refers to him as a drama queen.Roethlisberger has been a very good QB over the years and puts up impressive numbers but man he comes off as a guy with no personal accountability who whines way too much
Tried sharing this, @RTM58...Why can't I?
Who would want to take a job where two years ago you were picking second in the draft and this year you win a playoff game but still get fired?
My understanding is that this isn't an outright firing as much as it is a contract negotiation that fell apart. I'm hearing that Mularkey went to the mat for his assistants. The fact that the Titans let questions about his job status linger for weeks probably didn't help, either.Who would want to take a job where two years ago you were picking second in the draft and this year you win a playoff game but still get fired?
