Here's the sad part of watching this team start 0-2.

We are a better team than we were last year. We run the ball extremely well with Corbin and Ward. Milton does a really good job extending plays and making short to intermediate passes.

The defense has been playing really well for stretches of both games. Even after Milton's INT, they held Jacksonville State scoreless.

I really think we are a better, more talented and better coached team than what we have seen in recent years, but Norvell has not coached these games offensively and from an overall perspective very well.

1. Milton needs to be the QB and getting all the snaps

2. Run the ball and keep running the ball with Corbin and Ward. I know many of us thought Jimbo's offense was boring and predictable, but this isn't 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Corbin and Ward have had huge holes to run thru. Make teams stop it. Instead we go to something else and we stop ourselves.

3. Scrap the Wildcat.

4. Stop playing so many receivers. Stick with our top guys and let them get into a flow and on the same page with Milton. I think McClain is solid, but I see him blocking on 1st and 2nd down and then comes out for a critical 3rd down. Why is he coming out on the passing down?

5. I think our OL is generally improved but what happened to our guards today? 55 was awful. I thought tackle was going to be an issue but most of penalties and issues seemed to be on the guards. Do we not have anyone else who can play guard?

6. Dont waste timeouts, particularly in the 2nd half

If Norvell would play Milton and stick to what this team does well, there is no reason we shouldnt be 2-0 right now
