John Raulerson of the FSU Master Craftsman studio designed the spear tips which are made of medal and cradle dichroic glass which naturally changes colors under different lighting conditions, sometimes appearing garnet, gold, pink etc. Raulerson and the Master Craftsman Studio also designed the art piece featured inside the Gaines Street roundabout near Collegetown utilizing dichroic glass.
