Fyi, this coming from one of his biggest supporters

1) Standing by Deondre Francois and trying to turn him into a leader of the team. What a disaster that was. Also, throw in Noonie Murray by proxy.

2) Failing to secure more tried and true football coaches on his initial staff and instead filling slots with pure recruiters. Our game day execution on so many levels has been a disaster. They're considerably better this year but the poor coaching and fundamentals is obvious.

3) Failing to set realistic expectations for fans, boosters, and media that this was a spiraling program and would have to be rebuilt from the ground up, which means some growing pains.

4) Allowing Sam Howell and his dad to hold his captive for an entire recruiting season while dissing us at the last minute. 6-6 would be a lot easier to stomach if we had Jaylen Daniels or John Rhys Plumlee at center for the next 4 years and we could see brighter days. Right now we have no answers for 2020 either at the most important position on the field.

5) Failing to move on quickly from Harlon Barnett. Giving him year 2 was obviously a giant mistake. We literally have our "analyst" trying to run the defense from behind the scenes and he's actually been pretty effective. What could have been if he was our d coordinator from the start of the season.

6) Loyalty to James Blackman. It's obvious to anyone with two eyes that Hornibrook is more effective running this offense and I truly believe we win that game by 10 pts last night if he starts. This game was the nail in the coffin and he "ride or dyed" with Blackman. Just a head scratching decision and honestly one that he deserves to lose his job over.
