Nole fans that have been around for any amount of time are sure to be reminded of the "Wide-Right" years....some networks would have you believe that those errant kicks define FSU football. WRONG!

The truth is that all 3 FSU National Champion teams can thank the kickers as a big reason for capturing the title. Just a reminder to you all:

-1993 Scott Bentley kicks the game winning field goal with less than a minute left to defeat Nebraska and win Bowden, and FSU it's first national title.
-1999 Sebastian Janokowski kicks a clutch game-winning field goal against Clemson to keep the regular season undefeated, and his kicks helped lead the Noles to their second national title.
-2013 Roberto Aguayo made clutch kicks in the national title game against Auburn. Auburn's kicker missed a field goal. Noles win....by 3 points.

Now today, I see where FSU has landed the nation's number 1 and number 3 kickers in all of the land.

Wide right is dead and has been for a long time.

Go Noles!
