Saw it this weekend. Really good, funny, and entertaining. I think it was about as good as you could get for a third installment.

So, I've seen the Avenger films but not the first two Thor films. Any need to watch those two movies to understand the third one?

It might add a little helpful background, but it's not necessary in my opinion.

It ties up one thing from age of ultron that people might wonder about. But you're OK with what they tell you here I think.

Never a huge fan of the Thor movies, in the Avengers storylines. This one has Hulk though, so will probably like it more

Definitely the best Thor movie and it's not even close. Top 3 Marvel movie.

Just caught it in 3D IMAX. First of all, this is a movie well worth seeing in 3D. Other than Tron Legacy and Dances with Smurfs in Space, I can’t think of a movie that made better use of 3D. And it is a truly gorgeous movie.

Ranking wise, I’ll have to see it a couple of times but I’d definitely give it a five out of five. Is it better than Spider-Man Homecoming or the original Guardians of the Galaxy? I don’t know, but it was fantastic.
