Anyone catch this film? Watched this on the plane last night. Thought it was quite good - some really fantastic acting. Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell are always great. Woody Harrelson is just getting better and better with age.

I like the summertime flights when they finally get the serious movies loaded into the IFE systems.

So so movie. Harrelson was good, Rockwell is almost always solid so no surprises there.

Story was pretty flat, didn't love it.

Almost watched it on a plane a few weeks ago but held off since it was sitting at home via Netflix. Still havent watched it. I looked at it last weekend and decided to watch the newest planet of the apes instead (with Woody Harrelson). Big mistake. Thought the movie sucked and his character was horrible, amazing cgi though. But I need a story to keep my attention, not nonstop explosions and near deaths.

Anyway, will give it a go Sun and report back.

I gotta take time to watch this flick. It was filmed in the next county west of us. A buddy was talking the other day about someone he knew taking an offer from the film crowd for their building. This building was torched during the filming. I have heard good and bad reviews.

The building that burned was in Sylva, NC which is the Jackson County seat. I am curious if there was a shot of the very picturesque county court house. It sits up on a hill at one end of the little downtown district.

I thought the plot wobbled around at the end, but because of the excellent acting I wasn't sorry I watched the movie. Frances McDormand, as usual, was worth the price of admission by herself.

Haven't seen it and I know some great acting but the topic just seems sad and boring to me.
