12:05 -- Sorry we didn't have more updates over the last hour ... it was a lot of 1s and 2s vs. scout-team stuff, so not much we can really report since it was gameplan-related.

It was a very intense practice ... not in terms of hitting but what all the coaches were doing to put the players in challenging situations. Norvell explained later that was by design, seeking to learn how different players would respond to things they weren't necessarily prepared for. Overall, he seemed pleased with that.

No surprise here, but he's not going to announced the QB. We will see the starter run out for the first play. But he said the team already knows even if he hasn't directly said it.

We'll have more coming soon.

9:50— They’ve been doing a lot of third down situations

On Travis’ first series, he hit Camm McDonald for a first down and dumped one off that I don’t think would have been a first. Defense blitzed and sacked him on one.

On Milton’s series … he connected with Jordan Young for a first down but not much going on his other plays. Great play by Omarion Cooper to blow up a bubble screen.

Travis had another series and had one really nice play where the pocket collapsed and he spun out of it and hit Toafili for a first down. He hit Toafili for another first down but I think he really would have been sacked by Jermaine Johnson if it was live.

9:20 — They started off this morning doing some special teams and worked on things like ball security, recovering fumbles etc.

Only did one two-minute drill series before they went outside.

Started kinda rough with a miscommunication between Travis and a WR followed by a sack. Travis then scrambled to make a first down.

After nothing really doing on the first three plays, Travis hit Parchment for a 40-plus touchdown. Perfect throw in stride.

Norvell ran around with his arms up celebrating the play for the offense.

They then tried a two-point play, but McClain caught it just out of bounds. Going outside now. Will have more later.

Good morning!

Heading over to FSU for the last practice this week that is open to the media. The Seminoles will have practices and walk-throughs on Friday and Saturday, but today is our last day to watch.

Check back around 9:15 or 9:30 or so for updates.
