In hindsight, I've needed to remind myself: this is still a rebuilding year.

The players played lights out and up to their maximum capabilities vs the Irish last week.

Play well and mentally focused and play the BEST game u can, and yes, we are a very VERY GOOD TEAM.

We're obviously not there to do that week in and week out. Yet.

They weren't consistently good as they can be, and last night proved that.

Obviously, being a team of kids, the team was not mentally prepared yesterday.

A short week? Resting on laurels? Feeling over confident? Who knows.

But they aren't as bad as last night. Not by a long shot. No friggin way.

The ND game proves that.

Too many mistakes yesterday. Penalties. Drops. Mental errors. And yes, bad play calls from the coaches.

So many chances to put the nail in the coffin in the 4th quarter and they couldn't do it.

It IS rock bottom, but I'm just not wired to give up on these guys.

Honestly, think of ten plays last night, that go the other way, and that hail Mary doesn't happen

It doesn't sound like the players are giving up, why should we?

Arent we all fans?
