This is one of the most read forums, and I hope it does not get me in trouble.

This week I switched cable and Internet provider from Xfinity to U-verse. And now I have lost the capability to access the Watch ESPN app on my phone and pc. A message comes up that says I have to contact my provider. I have called and gone to the AT&T people, and they know nothing.

Has anyone else had this problem!

You have to switch your provider info on WatchESPN from Xfinity to U-verse/AT&T. Just sign out and sign back in using your U-verse login/password combo to authenticate that you are a paying ESPN customer.

I have done that and still can not log in.
Hmmmm. I don't have U-verse, but any time I've switched providers to log in to WatchESPN it's been pretty seamless. I've had streaming services like PSVue and YouTube TV and Directv and never had an issue with the WatchESPN app when I change provider logins. By any chance are you trying to view something that is not included in your u-verse subscription? For example, if you have a basic package that only includes ESPN and ESPN2 but not the other ESPN nets, you wouldn't be able to view anything but what's broadcast on those two networks (and the ESPN3 freebies).

I left Uverse back in September. I fought with three levels of support about which receiver was Wi-Fi vs. Coaxial . After spending 15 minutes on hold the supervisor came back on and actually admitted i was right. Told me it would be 4 days to get someone out to my house. I told someone would there tomorrow. Fought with them on that issue for about 15 minutes. Someone was at my house the next afternoon. The only people who know what's going on is the person who comes to house. I dumped them the next for Xfinity.
