The Florida State women’s basketball team faces Boston College (11-16, 3-11) on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center (ACC Network Extra).

FSU (19-8, 10-5) looks to clinch its 10th 20-win season in their last 11 seasons, which excludes the 2020-21 COVID year when they played just 19 games.

Junior forward Makayla Timpson has six straight double-doubles. She is on pace to break the single-season record for double-doubles, blocked shots and rebounds. A seventh double-double in a row would tie the school record (Cherry Rivers in 1978-79). Natasha Howard has the school record for a single season with 15 double-doubles.

Timpson and Sara Bejedi hit the 1,000-point mark in their FSU careers in the win at Wake Forest last Thursday and will be honored before the game.

FSU has won five of its last six games, with the only defeat to then-No. 12 Notre Dame. The Seminoles have a week off before finishing out the regular season at Louisville on Feb. 29 and against Clemson on March 3.
