Vero Beach recs ..

Looking for a weekend getaway with the bride. Been to damn near every beach town in FLA.

Any recs where to stay, eat, drink would be appreciated or should we take a pass ?

Stay: Kimpton Vero Beach or Costa d’Este (coin flip)

Eat / drink: Ocean Grille, Orchid Island Brewery, American Icon, Southern Social. Waldo’s (at the Driftwood) or Bobby’s for some old school VB charm.

All except American Icon & Southern Social are walking distance from each other along Ocean Drive. The other two are downtown — $10 Uber.

I stayed at Costa d’Este and it was pretty great. Ask for the ocean view rooms if you go. We ate at The Tides and also went to Walking Tree Brewery for some beers. The wife enjoys art so we made a stop at the Vero Beach Museum of Art which surprisingly wasn’t that bad. All in all, a great little beach town.

Walking Tree is good but not as easily accesible as OIB if you’re staying beachside, nor are they making quite as good a product.

Food at OIB is pretty legit as well.
