After going back and watching the game again - it seems like the defensive meltdown might have had something to do with Cooper‘s stupid penalty at end of first half and Norvell’s getting in his and Marvin’s face (when Marvin stupidly tried to defend Cooper’s stupid penalty).
Up to that point the defense had been playing really strong/disciplined defense and Cooper and Marvin were playing inspired ball. From that play on - our Defense turned into Swiss cheese and I don’t recall Cooper making another play all game.
