I will agree that the drama did not help but if you are the number one pick in the draft you go pro. He wasn't coming back. When he announced he was leaving he probably already knew, or had a hint, That he was going number one to Tampa.

The media did hurt him from ever having a chance to be normal at FSU but I knew he was going to leave early half way through his RS FR year in 2013.

He was always going to leave early and he could have done much more to help himself in perception. He's the first person to admit that.
