I went looking to see how much better QB play the toughest team on our schedule is getting than us. These were the numbers that I found:
Watson - 68.2% 1410 yds 8.3 ypa 235.0 ypg 14 td 7 int 156.8 rating 48 car 283 yds 2 td (non sack yards)
Golson - 67.2% 1449 yds 8.2 ypa 241.5 ypg 11td 0 int 156.5 rating 23 carries 103 yds (non sack yards)
Besides the fact that Clemson runs Watson more they are pretty much even. So then you look at how they protect the ball and Watson has 7 ints in 6 games while Golson has NONE! You can't say is because he is being conservative because he has more passing yards than Watson does. I just thought with all this hype of Watson being by far the best quarterback in the league, his stats would've been much much better than Golson's. I was dead wrong.
